In green Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, dairy farm De Heerenhoeve is thriving. With more than 100 grazing cows enjoying lush pastures from spring to autumn, De Heerenhoeve is known for artisanal dairy products. Their product range includes artisan ice cream, farmhouse custard, and farmhouse yoghurt.

The farm exudes nostalgia and craft, where fresh pasture milk is the main ingredient. The yoghurt, made from daily fresh whole milk, offers a gourmet taste experience. The farmer’s custard, made according to an old family recipe, takes you back to authentic flavours.

The Heerenhoeve distinguishes itself by letting visitors tap fresh pasture milk all year round themselves, reinforces the connection with food provenance and adds purity to every drop of milk. With attention to the cows’ welfare and a focus on health and hygiene, the family-run business provides tasty dairy products.

Honesty, authenticity, and sustainability are at the heart of the production process. Traditional methods and daily fresh milk result in honest products you can enjoy with peace of mind. The farm creates awareness about local, sustainable agriculture.

Made with sustainable ingredients and the milk of our own cows, the artisanal farmhouse ice cream is available in more than 30 mouth-watering flavours. We started with ten ice cream flavours in July 2020, with your ideas and feedback central to the development of our new creations. Our range includes artisan ice cream, sorbet ice cream (Vegan), demi-ice (50% sorbet, 50% ice cream) and some sugar-free options.

You can buy our ice cream year-round at the farm in 175ml, 350ml and 770ml packs. During scoop season, you are also welcome to enjoy a delicious scoop ice cream.

At De Heerenhoeve, you don’t just taste milk; you taste the passion for the craft and the rich history of farming. Every spoonful of yoghurt and bite of farm custard is a tribute to authentic flavours, brought to the present by the passionate farming family.
