Along the coastal areas thrive the sea buckthorn berry, an extremely healthy little orange berry packed with natural vitamin C. These berries grow on bushes scattered throughout the entire Zwin region and stretch northwards along the entire North Sea coast.

With their fruity sour and spicy flavour, these berries bring not only a culinary experience, but also a beautiful orange-yellow colour in juice. These berries are the ideal basis for a perfect “pairing” with delicious dark chocolate, composed by renowned chocolatier David Maenhout.

This flavourful marriage of sea buckthorn berries and dark chocolate has not only found its way into Chocolatier M’s range, but has also been recognised as an authentic West Flemish regional product. The combination of craftsmanship and local flavour makes the chocolates a true delight, with the title of recognised West Flemish regional product as the icing on the cake.
