All instructions from hotel staff regarding our terms must be followed.
By visiting or staying at our hotel, you agree to our terms and accept and respect them.
Pricing
- All our prices are based per room, breakfast included.
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
- Our rates vary by room type, availability, day of the week, and season.
- During periods of high demand or major events and for certain packages, we may require a minimum length of stay. You will be informed of this when making your reservation.
- For accurate daily rates in our hotel, please use the booking module.
Age Limit
- To book a stay or check in at the hotel, a guest must be 18 years or older.
- Each room requires an adult of 18 years or older.
Best Rate Guarantee
- Our best rates and most flexible cancellation terms are available when you book directly with the hotel.
Standard Rate
- A valid credit card (CC) is required when making a reservation to guarantee your stay.
- Please note: a debit card (such as Bancontact or Maestro) is not accepted as a valid credit card.
- No amount will be charged at the time of booking, nor in case of a valid pre-authorization. However, if a cancellation fee applies, this will be charged to the provided card.
- 14 days prior to arrival, the hotel will perform a pre-authorization on the provided credit card for an amount equal to the first night(s) of the reservation.
- In case of a valid pre-authorization, no amount will be charged; the amount will only be temporarily blocked as a guarantee for your stay.
- If the pre-authorization fails, the hotel reserves the right to charge the amount for the first night(s) as a payment.
- Additionally, the hotel may ask you to provide a new, valid card within 24 hours. If no pre-authorization or payment is received, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
- A pre-authorization on the provided card will be released by the hotel the day after your departure. Please note that it may take several days before the amount becomes available again, depending on your bank or card issuer. Contact your financial institution if you have further questions.
- Any payments made on the provided card will be deducted from the total amount of your stay upon check-out.
Prepaid Rate
- We offer a non-refundable promotional rate.
- This rate is considered non-refundable, and the total amount will be charged at the time of your reservation.
Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
- In 2019, the European Union (EU) adopted new legislation under the Payment Service Directive (PSD2) to reduce fraud and make transactions more secure for online businesses established in the European Economic Area (EEA).
- Guests must verify each online payment with two-step verification. SCA requires guests to verify their payment by entering an additional code via an app or SMS. Verification via SCA must include at least two of the following criteria:
- Something the guest has (such as a phone)
- Something the guest knows (such as a PIN)
- Something the guest is (such as fingerprint and facial recognition)
Vouchers and Gift Certificates
- Can only be used for reservations directly with the hotel or through our website hotelstpol.be
- Book a stay with our flexible booking options and flexible cancellation terms.
- Cannot be used with a prepaid reservation.
- Vouchers or gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash.
- You must bring your original voucher and present it at check-out as this is your method of payment.
OTAs (Online Travel Agencies)
- If you book or reserve through a third party, such as booking.com or other OTAs, please check their policies.
- We are contractually restricted from canceling or modifying reservations and bookings made with a third-party website.
Rooms
- A hotel room is rented for an overnight stay.
- An overnight stay begins at 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and lasts until 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
- Sorry, no pets allowed.
- Please note that the hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to guests with a pet.
- We will make every effort to honor special requests upon arrival.
- However, the availability of these requests cannot be guaranteed in advance.
- We will do our best to hold specific room numbers or room locations, although we cannot guarantee this.
- Within your chosen room type, the exact room you receive is a surprise.
- The total number of persons in a room, including children, must not exceed the maximum number of persons allowed for the respective room types:
- Superior Room: up to 2 persons
- Standard Room: up to 2 persons
- Small Standard Room: up to 2 persons
- Junior Suite: up to 2 persons
- Family Rooms: up to 4 persons (2 adults and 2 children under 16)
- If you have questions or need clarification about the hotel’s policy on maximum occupancy, our staff will be happy to provide you with detailed explanations.
- Please note that the hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional guest exceeding the maximum occupancy for that room type.
- A baby crib is available upon request and availability, in certain room types, and for a fee.
- Since adding an extra bed limits comfort and space, we recommend choosing one of our family rooms if traveling with children or an additional room if traveling with more than 2 adults.
